This encapsulates how alone I’ve felt, that even my closest cis friends don’t seem to get how in danger I am and we are. I think they don’t want to face it, but I desperately need them to.

Beautiful and hard to read. Not hard in a comprehension way, but hard in that almost every line evoked a feeling and I was crying before I had gone far (and crying as I write this). RESONANCE.

From the feelings of being invisible before I transitioned to the erasure now. Even the nostalgic feelings of growing up (we had a coal/wood burning stove though).

Thank you Miranda. I cry so much more now than I use to, and though I often am not happy by the root cause- I am happy that I can feel again.

"They say I worry too much

for an unperson." This pierced right through my heart. I wish I had words of comfort, but all I can do is sit with the pain with you...

Her favorite song was "The Beautiful People"...by Marilyn Manson? Not one of the most uplifting pieces! 💜

Jesus Christ Miranda, this moved me so deeply. I love your writing. These are such terrible times to be alive in certain ways, but I am blessed by the company of beautiful souls like yourself while walking down this treacherous path towards tomorrow. ❤️
