At our heart, Americans are rebellious and resistant to authority. Trans people are rebellions and resilient in so many unique ways just like all our LGBTQ+ family.
If you’re LGBTQ+ and you’re here today, you’re surviving. It’s civil disobedience. It’s being a part of the resistance.
Ya know what I think Miranda? I think that our inner strengths will carry us forward. That some in society are trying to dim that strength so we don't even feel as if we have any but in truth that inner strength lay in each of us. That truth scares them because history has shown that working together, people can move mountains. I'm not trans and I feel it at time just being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I think some attack us because they are simply scared of what they don't understand. In all honesty, it does bother my health to a point. That's why I'm often silent, sometimes I write like a fool and forget the spelling of things, etc. That's when I've been attacked too much and can't take it well. I've even been blacklisted so I have to go out of state in order to get the help that I need. I fear going to EVERY doctor for any reason because I never know 100% that everything will be ok. That isn't what the U.S.A. was made to do. Something always reminds me that even little me has inner strength that's stronger than the hate of others. Yours shines so much brighter if you ask me Miranda. My point, everyone in the LGBTQ+ community has that strength. THAT is what scares them and that is exactly why LOVE WILL WIN. You talked about ancestry before. I'm surprisingly attached to a few historical figures myself. It can be rather intimidating at times but also how can you NOT be proud to a point in some cases? One ancestor of mine is Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln didn't work alone when he changed the world to help so many people. There were countless people working with him. I don't know if you know but he was gay. There are ALOT of things that prove that, they just hid them for years. He would have guys over when his wife was away though. You really can't hide a guy being in your bed at the white house. Someone had to actually talk him into getting married in the first place because he didn't want to sleep with a female. You can see proof, etc. in the movie Lover of Men. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. They did NOT silence the LGBTQ+ community by hiding that fact, etc. and they never will because again LOVE WINS! In all honestly Lincoln did sign something to help free people but Abraham Lincoln didn't free the people alone. The people did... the inner strength of each person working together did. We need to each remember that strength lay in us, so we can keep on fighting the good fight to help LOVE win again! We can and we will.
This is very well said.

Be safe be out and be you.
