Heard and felt deeply. This money machine meat grinder of a country trumps all. We are all indeed just commodities, disposable and counted only to attract clicks. I can't imagine what that time was like for you and your wife in 2020. I've only had to watch over a child with RSV breathing jaggedly over a few nights. But weeks, months?

She was sick for about 6 weeks, and I almost had to take her to the hospital multiple times. I was so scared. 😞

Now we get to deal with long Covid…

6 weeks is a lifetime when you're on 1-2 hours a night and on high alert. You must have both been so exhausted. Long COVID seems to be like other silent, forgotten consequences of disasters and crises, not unlike the plight of firefighters post-911 battling for years the respiratory diseases, cancers, and deaths.
